Sam is well known for being the founder and creative director of online interiors retailer Amara. Amara offered a plethora of interior items from Danish design furniture to exquisite ceramics. Sam is highly respected in the world of interiors and has long standing relationships with hundreds of key designers and manufacturers. For over 20 years, Sam also owned and ran Amara Interiors and has worked her magic on many beautiful homes. She has now decided to focus on the area she loves.... creating stunning homes.

Interesting facts about Sam: Her house always smells amazing as there are candles and diffusers everywhere! She designed her own interiors range that was sold through Amara and it was their best selling range. And finally, she obsessed with Fornasetti and has a cloakroom dedicated to everything Fornasetti. 

Sam joined Amara Interiors in 2005 working closely with Sam Hood to develop the bespoke interiors design service. Coming from Clement Joscelyn Sam bought lots of industry experience and loyal customers that still use her services today. Sam is highly skilled at interpreting trends and creating timeless design.

Interesting facts about Sam: Her second home is on the Suffolk Coast and is a most joyful family space, giving them all lots of R&R.

She has always had a love for all things Italian. From the food and wine to the wonderful climate, and of course their incredible designers.

Sam loves to use colour in her designs, creating a real statement with every scheme.
